Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Math Education:
Aligning Pedagogy, Purposeful Technology, and Applications
April 19, 2022 | 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. EST
Free and open to the public
This virtual conference is presented through the support of the Bank of America Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Technology at the University of Baltimore.
About the Conference
The pandemic and its interruptions to school-based learning are having negative effects on our students, particularly those who were already experiencing inequities. Yet acquiring the quantitative skills needed for adulthood, citizenship and professional roles require that all develop strong competency in math and evidence-based decisions. These remain a challenge for many students. Our webinar explores the gap and the opportunities to improve diversity, equity and inclusion among faculty and students in math and math-adjacent education.
