Call for Proposals: University of Baltimore Faculty and Graduate Students
Deadline for Proposals is February 18
Research Engagement Day provides a forum to learn about the research, scholarship and creative activities undertaken by faculty and graduate students across all parts of the University of Baltimore.
We are currently accepting proposals from all University of Baltimore faculty and graduate students to give a presentation about their research, scholarship or creative activity at the 2022 RED Talks. Presenters will pre-record a 5-minute video talking about a current or recent scholarly activity. If the scholarship and presentation involves a collaboration between 2 or more people, a longer video of up to 8 minutes is permissible. After each video is shown during the RED Talks, each presenter will have the opportunity to answer questions from the audience through the Q&A feature, or in Zoom-person if time permits.
Save the Date: March 17, 2022
RSVP on the UBalt Calendar to receive updates, including a link to the Zoom session, when they become available.
The RED Talks provide a unique opportunity to learn about a wide variety of research, scholarship and creative activity happening across the University of Baltimore. UBalt faculty and graduate students will share information about their scholarly activity in a video followed by the opportunity for people in the audience to ask questions. You can see examples of previous talks using the links on the RED Talks web page.
