Dr. Olivia Pollard holds a doctorate in Management with a specialization in Information Systems, a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology and a Master’s in Health Information Management. She is a forever learner with industry certifications in Project Management and Health Information Management Technology. She has 12 years of experience in teaching, instructional design, course development, and Quality Matters. Prior to joining University of Baltimore, Dr. Pollard worked as an instructor at Ashford University, Instructional designer with Purdue University and Northeastern University, developed courses for Western Governors University, served as the master reviewer for many colleges obtaining their Quality Matters certification, and guided PhD candidates at Franklin University to complete their degree as a committee chair and committee member. In her current role, Olivia assists in course design, workshops, faculty development, and LMS support. She serves as a Co-Lead on the Digital Accessibility Committee and a Lead on the Open Education Practice project with Robert L. Bogomolny Library.
